2024 Elections for Baseball Parents Inc Board of Directors

The Annual Members meeting has been scheduled by the Board for Wednesday, December 6, 6pm at the Post 22 American Legion (818 E. St. Patrick St.)  We will review the state of the financials but the primary purpose is to elect Board members for next year.  The terms are for 2 years on the board.

We are looking for new board members.  Our board is made up of parents and non parents. In order to keep the “Tradition of Excellence” we are looking for board members who are willing to work for the betterment of our program.  Please know that becoming a board member does not constitute you becoming an officer.  If you would like to hold an office there is always that opportunity.

You must be a member of the corporation (Baseball Parents Inc.) to apply for the Board.  As stated in the BPI by-laws, those eligible for membership must meet one of the following criteria:

  1.  The parents of each baseball player on the roster of Post 22 Baseball (the Bullets, Expos, or Hardhats are all considered “Post 22 Baseball”);
  2. All baseball parents whose child has completed his baseball eligibility and participated in the Post 22 Baseball program through his last year of eligibility;
  3. All players, upon reaching the age of majority, who have played thru the termination of their eligibility or have left the program in good standing;
  4. Eligibility is defined as participating in the Post 22 program throughout the season that follows the player’s senior year in high school.  Players that are “cut” when establishing the roster for American Legion tournament play will be deemed to have participated throughout the season.

You must be present to vote.  Each member will get 1 vote.  If both parents are in attendance, each will cast a vote.  We need 25 or more members in attendance to make the Annual Members meeting official, please plan on attending.

Please complete the Baseball Parents Inc Info Sheet and return it to Post 22 Baseball (rchardhats@post22baseball.com) by December 1st.

Please feel free to reach out to any board member if you have questions.

Again, thank you for your support and dedication to the Post 22 Baseball Program.
